Guy Ferrer was born to French parents in Algiers (Algeria) in 1955.
As a painter and sculptor, he developed an international career, marked out with exhibitions in numerous museums and galleries.
His works form part of many important public and private collections around the globe.
As a traveler, Ferrer drew on his many trips abroad studying the human matter which animates his work and forms its spirit.
With a passion for all things spiritual his work offers us a powerful and significant journey of man’s paradoxical passage through time.
While Ferrer is in South Africa, with the support of the French Institute of South Africa and Nirox Foundation, he will create new works inspired by exposure to the local environment.
