Liberty Battson, the 2014 ABSA l’Atelier Winner, has been invited alongside two other artists to combine their unique conceptual and artistic skills in creating an immersive experience from a familiar material. 'TRIPE' is a large-scale installation made from rubber and polyurethane. Battson, Elrie Joubert and Pauline Gutter collaborated with art students from the Central University of Technology in the Free State to help take the project from conception to completion.
